Marketing has changed in recent years when social media came onto the scene.  Marketing now has evolved into really engaging with your ideal client.  People want to be touched so to speak, especially if your target market is women. So often I am asked, “well how do I do that?” Here are a few of my rules of engagement you might consider;



  • Ask your prospects what challenges they may be encountering, this enables you to find out if you can solve their challenges with your products or service.
  • Engage in conversation that is relevant and interesting
  • Don’t make every engagement about selling your product or service, that’s a turn-off
  • Engage like you mean it!  Why do you want to know that person?   Show some real caring
  • Offer your knowledge freely to those you engage with, they will remember the value you provided
  • Remember, building relationships in business takes time, just like the friendships you nurture personally
