Last month Twitter announced a new analytics program only available to advertisers and verified users. However this week they have opened the analytics program to everyone.
Mashable reported “the dashboard lets users see how many impressions each tweet has received (how many times users saw the tweet on Twitter), the number of favorites their tweet has received, how many times others have clicked on their profiles, and the number of retweets and replies on a certain tweet. It also shows how many times users engaged with a tweet and what that engagement was.
Having access to the metrics is useful for business brands and individuals who want to better reach a larger audience, the “average” Twitter user simply may not care.”
If you are using Twitter professionally I encourage you to look at this with a serious eye, what you want to pay attention to are your posts that are getting a larger reach and the ones you have had the most engagement and then repost them if the content is relevant.
Post with images are outperforming those without. If you haven’t set-up Twitter Cards, I encourage you to do so. There are great step by step instructions from Social Media Examiner – click HERE
